Stephen J. Cannell

American television entertainer whose eponymous company produced such series as *The A-Team*, *Hunter*, *21 Jump Street*, *Silk Stalkings* and *Caesar's Challenge*. During his career, he created nearly 40 television shows and also worked as a novelist.
