Nimitz Class

An American aircraft carrier in the Arabian Sea is sunk by a nuclear torpedo with the loss of 6,000 hands. The U.S. retaliates with an attack on an Iranian submarine base, but as Lieutenant Commander Billy Baldridge discovers the real culprit is a lone Iraqi submariner, a far more elusive terrorist.
